The Good Ideas™ program is designed to support small, new or developing programs with missions compatible to our own. We offer fiscal sponsorship for leaders who are taking steps to become a 501(c)(3) non-profit and who need support for this process. For individuals or organizations exploring how to make a difference in the world we offer fiscal sponsorship, coaching, and business skills training.

Good Ideas coaching is a 6-8 week program designed to get potential founders from a Good Idea to an operational business. During the course of the program founders may choose to apply for 501(c)(3) status or may opt for an alternative business structure. Multiple options will be considered during the course of the program. Other aspects include:

  • Peer group mentorship
  • Training in the foundations of Presence in Healing
  • Printable step by step checklist supplemented with videos and printable materials

Past programs include:

The Common Good Soup Kitchen, Southwest Harbor, Maine
Maine Ghana Youth Network
Bodhi Buddies, Boulder, Colorado

Good ideas offers this resource tool we have found invaluable  for those in the early stages of creating a good idea. It's also proven valuable at transitional stages of business as they refine and re-gather in times of transition. You can upload this tool to whatever program works best for you. We've used it with Google docs, and at group retreats. Our thanks goes to Dan Sevigny for creating this tool.
